I started my musical career when in 5th grade, I started playing trumpet in the elemntary school band. In 7th grade, I took up piano, and then in 8th grade, got my first bass. I played trumpet in the high school Marching Band and Jazz Ensemble for all four years, while continuing pursuing piano and bass elsewhere. When I chose to continue my music education, I felt that my future in music was on the bass. I started learning upright bass in November, 2008.
